Forged Connecting Rods

SPA Turbo supplies a wide variety of forged connecting rods. These connecting rods have exclusive designs with high strength and low weight. Our connecting rods supports 500+ Horsepower in 4 cylinder applications.

For some engines we offer several connecting rod configurations with dimensions that allow

engine builders more options. Longer connecting rods, for example, when combined with a low piston, allows improved geometry for a more agile engine.

To offer a strong and light connecting rod, we analyze designs using computerized simulations, and, after manufacturing the connecting rods, submit the materials to strict chemical tests and obtain test reports from specialized laboratories.

In the end, we know that we have a great product. However, it does not end there, our

marketing department works hard to produce elegant and elaborate packaging for our

connecting rods, to provide that finishing touch and aid in box-appeal.

Pistons

Like our connecting rods, our forged pistons were designed with structural reinforcements that minimizes material and thus weight. Of-course, our pistons are verified in computerized

simulations, and analysis before they are released to our customers.

We designed our pistons with exclusive compression height such that they can be used with other connecting rods dimensions, thereby increasing engines configuration options.

The Spyder piston are sold in two combustion shapes: flat and dish.

The top's surface is machined in CNC and then polished.

Pistons Pins

The pistons pins have a special internal geometry: conic geometry. This design allows less

material and significant weight loss.

Our piston pin strength has been certified in a test report from a specialized laboratory.

Pistons Rings

Our DLC series Piston Rings are made from high quality carbon-steel, finished and then coated with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) process that provides decreased friction as well as increased hardness for wear resistance.
